A Short History of my Photography
Well over 30 years ago, a friend handed me his camera hoping to get some surfing photos. I soon learned that I had a creative eye and my new hobby quickly evolved into a passion. During this time, I balanced managing the family business while traveling the planet with my cameras, honing my craft.
It has been over a decade since I decided to make my passion my livelihood, and have since been published domestically and internationally, covering everything from youth and professional sporting events to Fortune 500 formal cocktail parties, banquets and fundraisers, weddings and engagements, baptisms, anniversaries, galas, sweet sixteen parties, quinceneras and bodas (si, soy capaz de comunicarse en espanol para me clientela d habla espanol).
No matter the event, I am as enthusiastic as my client(s). My style of picture-making is journalistic, accenting traditional photography techniques such as posed and choreographed. From picturesque ocean settings and locales to corporate structure, each venue provides a unique experience and opportunity.
Through my travels, I have learned to adapt quickly to new environments. My easy-going and flexible personality allows my clients to forget I am there, allowing everyone to just be themselves. I believe in capturing the candid moment.
